Nightline Ambassadors
Nightline is a confidential, non-advisory listening and information service run for students by trained student volunteers from the University.
Want to get involved in the public facing side of nightline without the requirement to be a listening volunteer? The Nightline Ambassador scheme allows you the opportunity to be a part of Nightline and help support the service, without the requirement to be a listening volunteer or sign up to shifts.
The role allows you to contribute as little or as much as you would like to all things externally facing: awareness, publicity and fundraising. If you volunteer, you can specialise or do a variety of activities.
You can be a nightline ambassador alongside being a listening volunteer but this is not a requirement. All nightline ambassadors will receive in-depth training on planning and running awareness campaigns, fundraising and creating media content alongside an insight into what nightline is and what being a volunteer is like.
*We kindly ask that all applicants are either currently studying in Loughborough or on placement in Loughborough. If you are on placement outside of Loughborough you wont be able to access the scheme this year but we would love you have you apart of the team when you return!*
Loughborough Nightline welcomes applicants from under-represented groups and strives to have a volunteer pool that is representative of the student body.
